The NSLERC is the first research centre for national security education in Hong Kong’s higher education institutions.
The EdUHK is committed to nurturing outstanding educators and professionals, who are passionate, professional, ethical and innovative. The mission of the NSLERC is to offer them correct understanding of the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, and the Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, so that they could consciously safeguard national security, social order, and public interests, fulfill their social responsibilities and civic duties.
Meanwhile, the NSLERC will also engage in various law related activities, such as talks or seminars, research projects and degree programmes.
